Our organisation's primary focus is to research both war activities in and around Aarschot, publish articles with witness accounts and yet unknown facts on her website and Social Media page, and organise exhibitions. Yearly, she also organises an antique weapons and militaria fair for all collectors and enthusiasts with the same interest. For this event, we also provide animation with re-enactment and a military vehicle show, and you can always take a break in our cafeteria or take a bite at our authentic food truck. Do not miss this unique experience!
EXHIBITION: DEMERTREFPLAATSEN IN TIJDEN VAN OORLOG
The exhibition 'Communities on the Demer river during wartime' brings both the tragedies and triumphs of the First and Second World Wars in and around Aarschot, Gelrode, Rillaar, and Langdorp, as well as the villages of Werchter, Rotselaar, Wezemaal, Begijnendijk, and Betekom. Personal stories of betrayal and terror, as well as courage and resistance, come to life through the display of authentic artefacts, which bring history to life and provide an account of the impact on the people, the military violence, and the ultimate liberation.

Antique firearms are always sold by professional dealers and are blackpowder guns who according to Belgian Law are manufactured prior to the year 1895. Militaria is a wide range term to all military material like uniforms, helmet, vehicles, military equipment, insignia, medals, etc. Our organisation limits her dealers to only original militaria from both Axis and Allied army's from the First and Second World War. Post War, replica and altared pieces are only limited allowed and have to be always marked as such. Also excavation pieces from ground, see and other sides are mostly limited on the fair. Our organisation trives to provide to all collectors and enthousiast quality items from the hobby and represent a presteemed market for both buyers and sellers. Our organisation is also always willing to provide expertise as such.
